Das Video ist ein nur minimal bewegtes Bild. Die Fassade des Gebäudes ist verspiegelt, so dass die einzige Bewegung sich in den kurzen Momenten des Lichtwechsels und den über das Gebäude hinwegziehenden Wolken zeigt.
Bild vom Bild zeigt die Stelle an der Frontseite des Palastes der Republik in Berlin, an der das Emblem der DDR montiert war.
Der Palast der Republik, gebaut als Prestigeobjekt der ehemaligen DDR, wurde nach der Wende ein umstrittenes Politikum und wurde 08/09 endgültig abgerissen. In der Arbeit geht es um Sentimentalität, um die Schwierigkeit mit Bildern und Symbolen umzugehen und letztendlich um die Frage nach der Geschichtsschreibung. Der zur Projektion gehörende Sound ist ein Satz aus Pergolesis „Stabat Mater“, als Verweis auf den religiösen Moment innerhalb von Idedeologien und deren Zeichen.

The video is a fixed take with an only minimal moving picture. The fassade of the filmed building is a mirror, so that the only movement shows up in short moments of lightchanging and clouds moving over the top of the building.
Image of an Image showes the place on the frontside of the Palast der Republik in Berlin where the emblem of the GDR was mounted.
The Palast der Republik was build as an prestige object of the former GDR government and became a political issue after the wall came down and was demolished in 08/09. The work´s content is sentimentality and the difficulty to handle (with) images and symbols and in the end the main question about historic writing.
The sound belonging to the projection is a sentence from pergolesis stabat mater, as a sign of the religious moment within/between  ideologies and their signs.
